Happy People Foundation is a not-for-profit company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. It began as a conversation between housing society committee members who believed their responsibility to residents went beyond maintenance fees and AGM minutes.
Our Mission
To make every housing society a place where people genuinely look after each other
We believe the quality of a neighbourhood is determined not by its amenities but by how its people treat one another — especially those who are elderly, struggling, or simply in need of company.
HPF exists to make that care systematic, visible and sustainable — through events residents ask for, volunteers who run them, and open accounts for every event.

How It Works
How an HPF event happens
An event is proposed
HPF or a resident proposes an event — a health walk, a cricket match, a plantation drive, a class.
People sign up
Residents who would take part leave their name and contact on the Proposed Events page. Nobody pays at this stage.
Date and venue are fixed
Once enough people have signed up and volunteers are in place, the date and venue are announced to everyone who signed up.
Accounts are published
Each event keeps its own fund record — what was collected and what was spent is shown on the transparency page.
